Since the initial November 2025 announcement of the Oz AI tool, WinField United has moved from development into a full-scale launch for the 2026 season. The project has two goals: support retail agronomists in their recommendations and support decisions with a focus on ROI.
From Manuals to Minutes
By digitizing the 800-page WinField United Crop Protection product guide, Oz allows agronomists to gather almost instant, data-backed recommendations, including labels and product information. The more context provided around a question, the more tailored the answer. If contextual detail is missing, Oz will prompt follow-up questions to help refine the recommendation.
Oz currently supports crop protection decisions around herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and adjuvants in corn and soybeans.
Built on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, the tool processes decades of WinField United proprietary data more securely and faster than previous iterations.
Expanding the BioVerified Portfolio
In 2024, to enhance clarity around biological products, WinField United created its BioVerified designation. The vetting process is designed to give ag retailers more confidence when navigating biological selections. Updated yearly, three new products have been added to the list for 2026:
- Boosten biostimulant enhances plant resilience and vitality to help crops thrive against yield-robbing environmental stressors.
- Neovo is a liquid, in-furrow insecticide/nematicide that uses a novel mode of action to help protect against corn rootworm, nematodes and other below-ground pests.
- N Stryke microbial soil amendment is a highly concentrated microbial package that helps enhance root growth while providing nutrient mineralization and recycling for the crop.
